Our name, Kawau Kitchen, and interior design is inspired by the beautiful Kawau bird.

We’re a family owned business with strong ties to the local community. Our patrons are not our customers, they’re our friends. We share the love for all and fully cater for our celiac, vegan, vegetarian and meat-eating friends.

We endeavour to support our local community of growers, producers and artisan makers and we are always on the hunt to bring the best wholefoods experience to you.

Catering and Events

Here at Kawau Kitchen we love helping you out with your function or event. With our chef on hand we can cater and deliver for groups of any size. If you are looking for a unique home for your next event, we would love to host. We can hold groups of 2 to 40 people for sit down dining or 50 standing room only.

Alternatively we have a catering service that can provide convivial morning teas to classy canapés. We cater for groups from 5 to 50; just let us know what you are after. Kawau has you covered.
